With over 17 years coaching experience and 20 years of International
wrestling competition, Sergei has high expectations which contributes to his coaching success. With a strong ability to observe, analyze and make decisions combined with International wrestling experiences, Sergei has trained wrestlers to be champions at all levels of competition including the Olympics. Currently Sergei has returned to his home country of Belarus to train senior level wrestlers for the 2012 Olympics.
Founder of the Columbus Wrestling Club and with over eight years of
coaching experience Brian has a strong passion for the sport of wrestling.
His coaching career has been successful at the youth, high school and
collegiate levels. A Columbus Beechcroft alumni, Brian has a Degree in
Physical Education and Health from The Ohio State University, Brian also
holds a Masters degree from Ashland University. Brian is an AAU Freestyle
National Champion and has traveled and competed internationally. Brian is
a USA Wrestling Silver level certified Coach and a member of the National
volunteer coaching staff.
Tom Jones is the Varsity Head Wrestling coacn at Whetstone H.S. in Columbus, Ohio. Coach Jones also doubles as the youth coach at Whetstone Recreation center. Coach Jone's experience, innovation, and
enthusiasm are an asset to the Cyclone wrestlers.
Coach Boehlor is an assistant wrestling coach at Thomas Worthington High school. Mike was a four year letterman at Galion HIgh School in Galion, Ohio. Mike is very committed to the Beat the Streets program even though he is a semester away from graduating from The Ohio State University. Coach Boehlor has taken the lead role in providing academic assistance to wrestlers looking for tutoring.
